No program is perfect. Here in the Report Bugs section you can report any problems you may be having with EnVision Software.
At Box5 Software we put our best effort into making sure everything works the way it is supposed to. If there is something wrong we are going to try and fix it as soon as possible. Updates will be available for download on a regular basis so you can always have the most up-to-date version.
To help this process along please include as much information as possible to the circumstances surrounding the problem. For example, were you working in Performer Mode or Form Mode? Were you adding Performers to a form? Were you deleting something? All this information will be useful to track down and fix the issue.

Error Message
I keep getting this error message while I'm using the demo version. After I get the message, the program shuts down. I tried uninstalling then re-installing the demo, and it continued doing it.

Re: Report Problems
Thanks for the report!
Are there any additional details you can provide about what you were doing when this happened? For example, were you trying to undo something? Were you moving performers or forms? Were you editing something on one of the tool panels?

Re: Report Problems
The first few time that I was getting the error message, I was trying to undo a form. Then, it stopped showing me the message for a while. A couple days later I started getting it when I would click in the set area:

When the error message pops up, I have to press "abort" several times before the program crashes after a couple more messages. I forgot to take a picture of the other messages, sorry. If it happens again I will try to get them up for you. My friend who also has the demo has been having the same issues.
Thanks again!

Re: Report Problems
Thanks for the feedback. That sounds like two separate problems, we will look into them immediately.
Re: Report Problems
I have been having problems with Envision also. About 10 minutes ago I was working on a show and I had a lot done but when I click the undo button the whole program shut-down and I lost all of my work. This has happened multiple times and I just thought of it as a way to keep you from doing a lot on the demo version but this time it really bothered me. If that is the reason why then I would like to know so I won't make long shows on it. Don't get me wrong I love this software and if I was old enough and had the money I would buy it but since I'm only 15 thats out of the question. Thanks for you time!
Re: Report Problems
Whenever I get far into making a show it just freezes and shuts down and I lose all my work. Is this because I have the trial version?
Re: Report Problems
Hi 130lou,
There is no limit on how much you should be able to do with the trial version, except that saving and printing are not allowed. There are, however, still a few bugs in the system that we are working to eliminate. I am sorry that you lost all of your work, I know how much of a pain that can be. Normally I would suggest that you save often (as you should with any computer program) as that would minimize the damage done. Obviously, in this situation that is impossible so I'd just like you to make sure that you have the most updated version. New versions come out every month on the 5th (Box5 Day) with updates and bug fixes that might solve your problem. I would also invite you to share the details of this crash because it will help us track it down and eliminate it if we haven't already. Include things like: what Operating System are you using? What were you trying to undo? What mode were you in (Form Mode, Performer Mode)? etc.. Anything that you think might be relevant to the issue.
Thanks for posting and sorry about the late reply!

Re: Report Problems
Hi,
Just downloaded the demo version.
Every time I want to either add performers onto the grid, or add performers by 'starting a new show' from the welcome screen and I click 'continue', the program fails and aborts.
