Moving a forms's location (with the attached performers)

Post by bjindrich »

Is there a way to move a form that has performers attached to it, while keeping the performers attached to the form?

Everything I've tried (purple marble, arrow keys) moves the form, but not the performers, so the performers are obviously no longer attached to the form after the form has been moved. Then I need to reselect the performers and reattach them to the form.

Hi bjindrich,

Yes, it should be fairly easy to move forms with the performers still attached.
  1. Make sure you are in Form selection mode (2 buttons to the right of 2D mode button in the toggle toolbar).
  2. Move or reshape the form using any of the marbles. The performers should stay attached naturally.
Note that as soon as you move the performers in Performer Selection Mode they will detach from whatever form they were previously attached to.

If you are not able to get the expected results using the above steps then there could be a bug somewhere and I would love to see an example so we can get to the bottom of it.

Have a great day!
