Additional markers

I had a director want each section of the ensemble to have a different symbol or marker so the kids could see it easier. I went through and converted a bunch of these and thought they may be of help to someone else. Feel free to add them to your folder and put them to use... They are all in the attached zip file. Extract them to: Envision / bitmaps / Markers

Once they are in there, you should be able to access them in the Labels properties field. BTW - You'll have to restart Envision for it to see the new markers.

The ZIP file is not available. Are these markers incorporated into Envision now? If not, is this ZIP still available somewhere?

Awesome - thanks so much! These look very similar to the symbols in a program I used for many years (DrillQuest).

BTW, love the handle - one of my favorite shows (should have won, IMHO).

I cannot confirm or deny that these markers were part of the typeset for DrillQuest/Quickstep. ;)

I love that people still talk about and remember the 93 show - truly a lucky and fortunate person to be able to be a part of it!!

Revisiting this older thread. I've used the Dot markers in the past. Just got a new PC and I can't copy files to the Markers folder. It's odd because I could copy customer uniform files the necessary files - perhaps it's because the Markers folder is under C:\Program Files (x86)\EnVision while uniform files are under \Documents\EnVision. This is a work PC, so I don't have ALL permissions - some are locked down.

Is there any possibility of adding the 4 Dot markers in a release? I'd really appreciate it. OR, maybe updating the app to move Markers to be stored under \Documents\EnVision

Hi bjindrich and everyone,

I've gone ahead and added this complete set of markers to the app and provided a way to more easily add custom markers by putting them in the Documents/EnVision/PerformerMarkers directory. EnVision will automatically read them into the app on next startup. Markers should be 64x64 pixels and in PNG format.

See the release notes here:

Have a great day!
