Envision won't open!

Hello,

Whenever I try to open the Envision software, it crashes immediately without even opening.

If I click on "view problem details," this is what appears:

Hi Dana,

That is indeed a very bad problem. I can't tell exactly what is going on based on that information. We did have an issue that had similar results to this so I can step you through the process that seemed to work for that issue:

You must delete the EnVision.cfg file. This file is located in your Documents/EnVision directory. Once the file is deleted you should be able to restart the program normally.

If this doesn't work there are some other options that we can try out. Can you please email us at contact@box5software.com whether or not this works for you? The communication will be faster that way.

I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AND I CAN NOT LOCATE AN .CFG FILE.

Hi jsnbloom,

Are you using Windows 8? We have heard some issues similar to this regarding Windows 8. We are currently investigating.
