Adjusting Tempo

Post by Cantinman23 »

Hi!

I've just purchased your software and I was wondering how to adjust the tempo. I found the tempo selection in the "Set Properties" tool but I can't adjust it. How do I set my tempo?

Thanks!

Hi Cantinman,

The tempo option is greyed out when you have music loaded. You can sync your music from the sync music tool in the File menu. Once you have your music synced you can adjust the counts in each set and the tempo will be adjusted automatically. This is done because recordings of music don't always line up perfectly with a calculated tempo so we prefer to set the tempo based on the music rather than what the tempo should be. In most cases this is the preferred solution because your marching will match up with what you are hearing, even if the tempo is a bit off.
