Subset- regarding coordinate sheets

Post by Blake »

Sorry if this seems like a silly question, but is there a feature so when you use a subset for only certain performers, and the rest of the marchers continue as a regular move?

For example: On set 5, there's an 8 count move, and you have trumpets and saxs. The trumpets have a subset on count 4 and the saxes don't have one. So on the trumpets coordinate sheets, it'll say set 5 then 5A, then 6, and the saxes it'll just say 5 then 6.. So I guess this would go alogn with grouping?

Hi Blake,

Yes, that is actually the main purpose of subsets. Performers are only attached to Subsets when you move them on that subset (and a few other functions that attach them automatically). If you you have performers that are already attached to the subset then you can remove them using two simple commands from the Drill menu:
  • Remove Selected from Subset: Removes the selected performers from the current subset.
  • Crop Selected from Subset: Keeps the current selected performers on the subset and removes everyone else.
