How To Capture Shows on Video

Post by danaalston »

Hello,

A few months ago I was able to capture a show from a specific angle and create a video file. Can anyone walk me through how to do it?

Thanks.

Hi danaalston,

The video recording feature has been removed from EnVision. We now recommend that you use one of the numerous screen recording apps. Also note that you can Export your show (file menu) and share it with anyone you want. Your staff and members can load the file in the free demo version of EnVision and watch it from any angle on their own computers, including the Student View mode which gives you a camera angle that follows around anyone on the field, perfect for learning the drill before you even get to the field.

See this link for a previous discussion on the video recording ability in EnVision: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1415&p=1848&hilit=recording#p1848

Have a great day!

If anyone has suggestions on a good (free) video capture application for Windows 8, I'd love to hear about it! I downloaded one over the weekend and got a virus that forced me to do a system restore. So, anyone with experience with a virus free one would be great! :)

Thanks!

Here is a list to get you started. I haven't personally used any of these but let us know if you have any luck:
