Hello Everyone!
I've watched the video tutorials and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong -but clearly something is not right.
attempting a FTL move
I start in the set after the move
select the group
make sure the starting point is in the right spot
then I add my first point -that where it goes wrong
When I add the first point the group moves in the opposite direction - for example I have 5 members lined up on the 40 yard line and I want them to move straight forward, I make sure the one closest to the sideline is the leader, then I add a point just in front of that person, and the whole group jumps into an "s" shaped curved between the 40 and the 35.
So I'm trying to move them downfield - they are forward, they are moving back and to the left.
Tried it several times and they always move into the same curve - so it's not random.
Any ideas?
Thanks
John
Problem with FTL
Re: Problem with FTL
Hi John,
I think you have discovered a bug; I have been able to reproduce the issue inconsistently on my computer. My guess is you are on a Mac running Catalina; am I right? I think the combination of Catalina and the windowing system that EnVision uses sometimes handles high-DPI screens, like modern macbooks have, incorrectly.
Does this screenshot capture what you are experiencing? In this case there seems to be a fairly straight forward workaround, which is to edit the path manually instead of being able to have it be drawn where you are clicking. Once you click "Finish Setting Points" you will have the opportunity to manually edit the path before finalizing it by pressing "Accept Path".
I'll add this issue to our backlog so it can be fixed in a future release. In the meantime please let me know if the workaround is working for you or not.
Have a great day!

Thank you William!
Yes - I'm running Catalina - new laptop.
Great suggestion for the workaround!
and your s - curve looks almost the same as mine.
