Step Size

Post by bis4brass »

I can click on any performer and see their step size from the previous set. Could this information be made available to the performer on the dot sheet? I think this would speed the learning process...

Thanks! Ryan

Hi bis4brass,

That is a great idea, I'll add it to the requested features list.

Have a great day!

Hi Jeremy,

This feature has slipped through the cracks, but since you bumped it and it will be fairly easy to implement I am going to do it right now and make it available for the next release.

Have a great day!

Hi all,

Wouldn't it be much more easy to use a less technical stepsize description.
What do we try to tell with 6-5 or 18-5??
I believe when we talk about small, normal / regular or big stepsize and halt that this is much more readable for the performers.

How to implement this? I think this can be on the same basis as the dot sheet editor. Some of us want to use the technical data and use the actual stepsize measurements. I prefer to group these into small (stepsize 15 or higher), normal/regular (stepsize 7-8), medium (stepsize 9-14) or big (stepsize 5-6).

Have a great day!

Hi martijn,

This seemed like a good idea and fairly simple so I went ahead and made the change. It will be available in the next release of EnVision.
