What next?

Post by bdrumsanchez »

Hi. I created the account for engage via the link that you sent me. What do I do next. So, far I have downloaded the app. How to I get a production into the app? Next, would be setting it up for the kids in my band. BTW, is there a user manual? I could not find one.

Hi bdrumsanchez,

Most of the information needed to get up and running is found in the EnGage FAQ. The website portion is called the EnGage Portal so look in that section for information on how to upload a drill and then download it to the device.

Note that if you are not explicitly added as a Beta user then you won't have access to create groups which is required to upload a drill. I believe I have already added you but if I haven't then please let me know, and for anyone else who is reading this then you can request Beta access from us by emailing contact@box5software.com.

This app is still in beta so there is an expectation that some of this won't work as well as expected and the documentation may be lacking. If there is something in the documentation that you believe should be added or updated we would really appreciate if you let us know about it so we can make the app and ecosystem better for everyone.

Have a great day!

I was able to create an account, but when I click on buttons in the home page i.e. New Group, Access Code, etc. nothing happens. My guess is that you still need to add me

I added your email that you used to message me but I guess you use a different email here. I have just added this email as well so if this is the email that you are using then you should be good to go.

Seems to work fine when it opens. Problem is that it does not open promptly or at all.

I assume you are talking about the EnGage mobile app? We have had some reports that opening files can be slow and possibly freeze the app, is this what you are seeing also? We are investigating this issue and hope to have a fix soon.
