I have tried following these steps, but am having a difficult time even just getting different colors out of existing uniforms. Is there any tutorial video or more detailed explanation on simply changing uniform colors and parts? I would be interested in seeing how to do so.

Hi eyates,

Sorry for the slow response.

We have been meaning to do a tutorial video on the Uniform Editor for a while now so I have just bumped it to the top of my list. Expect to see it in the next couple of weeks. I will post back here when it is completed.

In the meantime, the trick to changing the color on a uniform part is that the uniform part has to be white (or at least a lighter color). Technically speaking, the color is added using the multiplicative method on top of whatever the base color is of the image, so it really only works well when you want to color the entire piece uniformly.

Have a great day!

Hi eyates,

This took a bit longer to put together than I anticipated, but we now have a tutorial video on the Uniform Editor. A second part will be coming shortly that details how to create custom textures for your uniform.
