Carrying Forms across pages

I'm pretty sure I read this or heard on a video demo that forms don't carry across pages, but I wanted to confirm. Forms don't carry across pages, right? As I become familiar with Envision, and how Forms fit into the overall workflow, it seems to me that carrying Forms from page to page could be use...

Changing counts for a subset

I guess I picked the wrong count for a subset and now I need to change it. I don't see a way to change the count for a subset, even from the Set Properties window - the counts value doesn't change for the subset, it remains at the counts value for the overall set. Is there are way to change the coun...

Searching across this user forum is a little difficult. I realize that you're using off the self software here, but when searching for important terms like "form" or "subset" or "print" or "subset counts", I get this: The following words in your search query w...

Re: Mirroring?

The ability to mirror a Form off of some horizontal or vertical axis is important. In the meantime, is there a way to flip a form, horizontally or vertically? That would go a long ways towards making it easy to mirror a Form (i.e. copy form, paste form, flip form, move form).

Smoothing a Multi-Curve

Is there a way to "smooth" a multi-curve form? My former drill program had that feature and I found it very useful in 2 ways: 1) it provided a fast way to smooth out bumps in the form (without having to individually grab the control points/marbles); and 2) it provided a fast way to evolve ...

Groups and Forms

What are the intended uses of Groups versus Forms? Clearly, Forms are very specific types of shapes and can be edited in shape-specific ways. And Groups seem more for visual identification, although there's also the ability to select a Group, and I'm wondering how that fits into the overall drill wr...

Intervals

Is there any way to select 2 or more players and 1) determine the interval of those performers; and 2) equalize the interval between those performers?

Keyboard Shortcut to move players?

Sorry to be piling on the questions, but it's drill writing time! So, the questions will probably be coming fast and furiously :-) Is there a keyboard shortcut to move the selected performers in 1 step increments, either left, right, front or back? The 4 arrow keys are a good candidate for this (and...

Bulk input performer names?

Is there a way to import/paste performer names in bulk as opposed to cycling through each dot one by one and setting the performer name one by one? I have almost 170 performers, so some type of full performer list that makes it easy to manage player names and paste names from a source like excel, wo...

Switch Performers

If I discover that some movement from Page 5 to Page 6 doesn't look good and I want to change how a certain set of performers get from 5 to 6, can I select any number of dots (not necessarily a full Form) in a specific order and match them to dots (also not necessarily a full Form) on the following ...
