Hi,

Just downloaded the demo version of EnVision for Mac.

Whenever I add performers from the main screen, or add performers starting from the welcome screen - start a new show - add performers, and click continue, the program fails and shuts down.
Did not try other functions this far.

Hi,

I downloaded the Mac Demo of envision and I can't get it started. It opens with a splash screen and as soon as I want to create a new design (by entering the numbers of performers), the app suddenly quits. After a restart of the computer, I started EnVision again and I get the following error message:

Can you help me out?

Thanks for the heads up guys. Just a quick question to help us nail this issue down, can you tell us what version of OSX you are currently running? Thanks, and we'll get an update out for this issue ASAP.

Hi Nick,

I'm currently running Mac OSX 10.7.3 on a early 2009 iMac (2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB memory). As soon as I start to ad (a) performer(s), it immediately shuts down.

Hi guys,

I am very sorry this is happening. Could you possibly try out a couple other aspects of the program to narrow down the problem?

Try this:
  • Cancel out of the Welcome screen
  • Try creating some forms
  • Try creating a prop
  • Change the prop to a 3D Model (Pit Equipment)
We are going to get this resolved as soon as possible.

Hello again,

We have just run several tests trying to replicate the behaviour you are reporting without any success. We had multiple people testing this out tonight on different machines, one was even running Mac OS X 10.7.3 (11D50) Lion and he didn't report any problems either.

In light of this, I am going to suggest two things; first, you should try re-installing it to see if that fixes the problem. Second, could you please give a detailed step by step walk-through of what you were doing leading up to the crash? We want to understand as much as possible about your situation so we can help you fix it.

Thank you very much for your understanding and your patience. We are going to do whatever we can to make this work properly.

Hi,

I work on a 2009 Mac, 2.8Ghz Intel Core Duo with 4GB 1067Mhz DDR3, running Snowleopard.
Re-installed version 1.2.11 today.

When I try to create a form, I can only manipulate one dot. And do nothing else with it.
When I go the the props menu, and click 'new' (under create) program shuts down.
I can add performers to my liking in the wizard, whenever I click 'next' it fails.

Hi everyone,

We are happy to announce that we have worked out this crashing issue. You can download the new version now, it is numbered 1.2.13.

Please note that if you have v1.2.12 installed then you will have to manually install the next version, as a bug was introduced in 1.2.12 that broke internet updating.

Thank you for your patience. If you have any more concerns feel free to contact us.

I just downloaded the demo for Mac and I'm unable to open the program. I've tried rebooting, deleting and re-downloading...
When I try to open the application I get the following error messages:
https://skitch.com/abbybob/eggma/envision
https://skitch.com/abbybob/eggm4/envision

Running on Snow Leopard (OSX 10.6.8)

I'd love to try out the program. Any advice?
Thanks,
Abby

Hello,

I have recently downloaded the demo, too. I updated to version 1.2.21 and the program is still crashing all the time. It happens, at what seems like, random times. I would really love to try the software out so I can determine whether or not I would like to purchase it. Is there some way to update to the latest version?

Thank you!
